Materials Manager / Admin Assistant

Compensation:       $30,000 to $45,000 Annually

David Carroll Associates is looking for a committed, enthusiastic, and ambitious crafts person to join our growing team of dedicated professionals. As the successful candidate, your job will involve shepherding equipment and materials as they flow through our shop on the way to fulfilling the technical needs of our sophisticated client base. This will involve receiving shipments every day and managing the resulting information flow in DCA's enterprise software, such as PO Receipts, inventory, service orders, labeling, transfers, etc. You will also be in charge of organizing equipment stock, tools, and materials for multiple projects, and keeping the shop and warehouse orderly and neat. You will need to be a good driver as delivery to the job sites will be a part of your regular duties. We believe strongly in professional development of our staff, so this job position could be the beginning of a new career. If you come with a good attitude and aptitude, you will have the opportunity to learn the commercial AV business from the ground up at one of the preeminent systems integration firms in the SF Bay Area.

To be considered for this position, you will need to be able to work in the shop and on a computer, not necessarily in that order. You need to be able to handle materials on a regular basis and have a clean driving record, Computer skills and experience should include Microsoft applications, and some type of database enterprise software such as inventory control. High school education or better, vocational education is of interest.
